Meet Sam DeMaio
Army Veteran. Entrepreneur. Remodeling CEO. Podcast Host. Real Estate Investor. Community Leader.
The Origin Story
Sam DeMaio’s journey into remodeling didn’t start in a boardroom — it started at age 19, when he purchased his first duplex and taught himself how to renovate it from the ground up. With no formal training and no family connections in the trades, Sam relied on pure grit, curiosity, and an unwillingness to quit.
Before becoming a full-time remodeler, Sam served in the United States Army, where he learned the precision, discipline, and chain-of-command execution that would later become the backbone of his business operations. He also spent time in law enforcement before ultimately following his passion for building and creating something of his own.
The early days were anything but glamorous. Sam bootstrapped Showcase Remodels with a van, sleeping on a couch after a divorce, placing flyers inside Home Depot tile boxes, and taking on $500 flooring jobs just to keep moving forward. He worked $7-per-hour side jobs to fund his dream. But one principle never wavered: do good work, and people will notice.
They did notice. Word spread. Referrals stacked up. And Showcase Remodels grew from a one-man garage operation into a 40+ employee company that now completes 15 to 17 projects every single day across South Jersey and Philadelphia.
Building Showcase Remodels
Today, Showcase Remodels is one of the most recognized and trusted remodeling companies in the region. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Turnersville, NJ (Sewell), the company recently expanded with a second office at 2558 Grant Ave Suite B in Philadelphia — its first location beyond South Jersey.
Showcase handles everything from kitchen remodeling and bathroom transformations to full-home renovations, home additions, basement finishing, roofing, siding, decks, and their signature One-Day Bathroom division. Sam’s team isn’t just fast — they’re operationally elite. The One-Day Bathroom Division was built from tight SOPs and trained crews who can deliver showroom-quality bathrooms in less than 24 hours. When Sam first launched it, his team sold 24 jobs in just over three weeks.
The company mission is “Get It and Give” — meaning the expertise, craftsmanship, and success they gain is shared with their team, their clients, and their community. Sam doesn’t use subcontractors; every crew member is a full-time employee with comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and career development. He applies what he calls “military-grade planning” to every project, with detailed timelines and contingencies mapped before a single nail is driven.
The results speak for themselves: a 4.9-star rating across 270+ reviews on Google, Facebook, Yelp, and the BBB. Clients rave about Sam’s professionalism, vision, and ability to turn their ideas into reality without cutting corners.
Celebrity Clients & High-Profile Connections
Showcase Remodels’ reputation for excellence has attracted some notable names. Former Philadelphia Eagles players Vinny Curry and Fletcher Cox have trusted Sam’s team with their homes. Celebrity hairstylist Martino Cartier, known for his philanthropic work with Wigs and Wishes, is a close collaborator. Sam has been seen at Acquisition.com with Alex Hormozi and his team, learning cutting-edge business strategies from one of the most recognized entrepreneurs in the world.
Sam was also featured on the Investor Fuel Real Estate Mastermind podcast, where the hosts unpacked how he built a $4M remodel empire and landed NFL clients. He’s been profiled on BlitzMetrics by digital marketing expert Dennis Yu, who put Sam on stage at DigitalMarCon. Dennis and Sam have shared many meals and outings together, building a friendship rooted in mutual respect for hustle and authenticity.

Real Estate Investor
Sam’s business mind extends beyond remodeling. He has built a real estate portfolio that includes dozens of rental properties and a boutique Jersey Shore motel. His journey started with that first duplex at 19, and he’s never stopped acquiring and improving properties. His approach to real estate mirrors his approach to everything else: systems, discipline, and relentless execution.
Giving Back
Sam is deeply committed to community service. He actively supports Wigs and Wishes, a nonprofit that provides wigs and fulfills wishes for women and children battling cancer and other diseases. He has attended the Wigs and Wishes Gala with his wife Jennifer. He also helps fellow veterans get back on their feet and mentors young contractors who are just starting out, sharing the hard-won lessons that took him from $7 jobs to running a multimillion-dollar company.
Sam is a proud member of the Greater Washington Township Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, and the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce.
Personal Life
When Sam isn’t running projects or recording podcasts, you can find him enjoying life with his wife Jennifer, spending time at the Jersey Shore, and staying active in the South Jersey community. He’s a car enthusiast, a lover of great food and wine, and someone who believes that hard work and authenticity are the only shortcuts worth taking.
